According to a melange factory in Yancheng, Jiangsu, the local cotton spot price has risen slightly recently. The price of 3128B cotton in the factory is 16200-16300 yuan/ton, which is 100-200 yuan/ton higher than a week ago, because the current price of gauze is also high. Due to the slight increase, the vast majority of small and medium-sized general and worsted textile enterprises can accept such a market, and the production and operation situation is normally improving.
Despite this, most of the spinning mills and cloth mills that mainly make "short, flat and fast" orders still adopt a low-key business strategy. Among the interviewed companies, quite a few companies do not have large inventories, and the purchase of raw materials and the delivery of finished products are all controlled within a small amount (the average raw cotton inventory is about 1 month, and the product inventory is controlled at about 10 days). It is reported that the order business of small and medium-sized spinning mills and cloth mills in the coastal areas of Jiangsu and Zhejiang is relatively full. 80% of the orders of the 20,000-60,000-spindle spinning mills in Yancheng are scheduled to be two months later. These orders are for domestic sales. As for downstream terminals Flow direction, small spinning mills don't pay much attention, just upload orders and contracts, they are concerned about how to complete order tasks and order continuity with quality and quantity.
At present, more small and medium-sized textile enterprises have the mentality of "doing in the present". The market for floral gauze is not stable, the epidemic situation in foreign countries, and the sanctions and suppression of cotton in Xinjiang by a few countries are all highly concerned by enterprises. Fortunately, the supply of cotton is guaranteed. Although transportation costs have risen, there is no need to worry about the efficiency of circulation. In such a special operating environment, small companies can only do so steadily and strive to ensure that they have a slight surplus under normal operation.
